  هو فعل يكون، وهو غير موجود في اللغة العربية، لذا يجب الانتباه لطريقة استخدامه. ويمكن أن يكون في صيغة المضارع (الحاضر)  is/ are أو في الماضي: was/ were  أو صيغة التصريف الثالث (past participle) been

أمثلة:

يعني يمتلك، ويستخدم أيضاً كفعل مساعد
